Complementary feed for horses

Procartil is a liquid complementary feed based on chondroitin sulphate, glucosamine, hyaluronic acid and vegetable extracts that can help maintain joints physiological conditions.

When to use Procartil

Procartil is the perfect complementary feed to keep horses’ joints in perfect shape and maintain their proper mobility and movement fluidity. It is the perfect complementary feed for sport horses engaging in intense sport activities. Procartil can also be particularly useful in ageing horses.

Properties of its constituents

Each bottle of Procartil contains 150 g of chondroitin sulphate, 150 g of glucosamine and 150 g of methyl sulphonyl methane (MSM). Chondroitin sulphate and glucosamine are in charge of cartilage regeneration and protection (90). Methyl sulphonyl methane, on the other hand, is well-known for its health properties. Pratt and other researchers found out that 55% of sulphur of MSM origin is absorbed by horses and accumulated in the blood. The technique employed indicated that the MSM is probably absorbed intact (21).

Instructions for use

Use 5 cl (= 50 ml, corresponding to the first graduation mark of the measuring chamber) of Procartil per day for at least 30 days (the whole bottle). It is recommended to use Procartil in regular cycles throughout the year.
