Description: Neutra Liquid is the liquid complementary feed conceived to reduce lactic acid formation and facilitate its removal from muscles. The product is a sodium citrates blend enriched with important B-group vitamins and betain (trimethylglycine). If administered daily in a horse's diet, Neutra Liquid is a valuable ally in reducing lactic acid’s negative effects, ensuring long-lasting, constant results.
When to use Neutra Liquid: Neutra Liquid is conceived to counteract the onset of lactic acid in sporthorses. It is particularly recommended in cereal-based diets, in which the great amount of starch to digest causes excessive intestinal acidity that needs to be counteracted. Diets rich in flaked cereals should always be supplemented with a lactic acid buffer, such as Neutra Liquid.
Properties of its constituents: Vitamin B1, contained in very high levels in Neutra Liquid, increases carbohydrate degradation, improves heart function and preserves proper peristalsis in the digestive system. Moreover, together with ATP, it is involved in supplying energy to muscles (15), while trimethylglycine helps remove lactic acid from muscles and facilitates its conversion into ready-to-use, available energy (26).
Use and dosage: Administer 50-60 ml of Neutra Liquid per day, properly mixed with the daily ration. This amount corresponds to a little disposable coffee cup. Neutra Liquid has to be added to sporthorses’ diets on a regular basis during the whole competition training. During competitions, it is recommended to double the dose of Neutra Liquid if you do not administer Lactic Control syringes too.
This product does not cause any adverse reaction. Nevertheless, since every organism has its own peculiarities, dietary supplements, feeds and complementary feeds should always be introduced in a horse’s diet gradually, in order to evaluate the product’s effects on the horse.
